	沿岸域の食物網を支える植物プランクトンの生理生態に関する研究を中心に、水産増養殖業の安定経営や沿岸環境環境管理・保全に貢献することを目指して研究を実施しています。 今後、噴火湾を中心に養殖ホタテガイの餌量環境および有毒プランクトンの出現状況について調査・研究する予定です。また、植物プランクトンの肥料分となる微量金属の陸域から沿岸域にかけての挙動を調べる研究に従事していました。
